Family Lifestyle sessions can be held at home or on location. If there are young children participating in the session, being home means they can have regular breaks throughout for a snack and drink. I also find toddlers are more comfortable in front of the camera given they are in their own space and they really love to show me their favourite, toys and books etc.

Family Lifestyle on location is a really fun way to do a shoot too. If you are a family that often visits the beach with your dog or maybe you love to hike or go exploring. These are all things I love to take into consideration when choosing where you might like to have your session. You want your photos to reflect who you are as a family at that particular time in your lives.

If you decide to stay home for a Family Session, please know there is no need to perfect your home for the photos. Any major distractions can be dealt with at the time, I’ve moved many a washing basket or numerous things off the side tables don’t worry!
